On phones and other narrow screens, NightCafe uses a bottom tab bar to get you around the app. The top header stays for your profile, credits, inbox, and search. On a wider desktop window, the same destinations still live in the top navigation.

The five tabs

From left to right, the mobile bar is:

1. Creations — your library of images and videos (My Creations / Studio history).
2. Browse — a menu for discovering other people's art.
3. Create — start a new image or video (the plus button in the middle).
4. Play — a menu for Challenges, Promptle, and Quests.
5. Chat — open NightCafe chat (shown when you are logged in).

The tab you are on is highlighted. Tapping Browse or Play again opens (or switches) that menu. Tap the dimmed area above the menu, or choose a destination, to close it.

Creations

Opens your own work so you can review, publish, edit, or start a variation. If you are already on Creations, tapping it again scrolls you back to the top of the list.

Browse

Browse groups the places you go to look at other people's art:

• Explore — the public gallery of published creations from the whole community. See Exploring Art on NightCafe.
• Feed — creations from artists you follow. You can also open it at creator.nightcafe.studio/feed.

On some accounts, Browse may take you straight to Explore instead of opening a menu. Explore is always available from the top navigation on desktop, or at creator.nightcafe.studio/explore.

Create

Opens the create form (or the Create panel in Studio) so you can pick a model and write a prompt. If you are already creating, the tab stays highlighted and does not jump away from the form.

Play

Play groups NightCafe's games and community challenges:

• Challenges — Daily Challenges and other games you can enter.
• Promptle — the free daily AI art puzzle. See Promptle: The Daily AI Art Puzzle.
• Quest: [title] — shown with an Active label if you are currently in a quest.
• Quests — the full quests list. See Quests on NightCafe.

Chat

Opens chat so you can join rooms, talk with other creators, or chat with Vincent. See Chatting on NightCafe and Meet Vincent.

On desktop (when the bottom bar is hidden), chat is the speech-bubble button in the header instead. Chat is available after you log in.

What stayed in the header

The bottom bar does not replace everything. On mobile you still use the top header for:

• The NightCafe logo (home)
• Credits / Go PRO
• Inbox and notifications — Inbox now has a What’s New tab for the latest models and features. See What’s New on NightCafe.
• Your profile menu (settings, dark mode, log out)
• Search

Desktop vs mobile

On a wide screen, Explore, Challenges, Promptle, Feed, and Creations stay as separate links in the top header. The Browse and Play menus are mobile-only. If you rotate a phone to landscape or use a tablet, you may see the desktop header instead of the bottom bar.

What changed

The mobile bar used to list more destinations as separate tabs. Related items are now grouped under Browse and Play so the bar stays simpler to use with one hand, and Chat has its own tab instead of living only in the header.
