What #ModifierMonday is, and how to play!
Join our weekly art challenge, Modifier Monday!
What is it? Each week, our community votes on a theme and contestants create based on the theme.
Prizes range from 5 to 500 NightCafe credits, all for simply entering and voting!
How to Enter on the Site:
- Log in to your NightCafe account.
- Navigate to the Modifier Monday chat on the site.
- Click on the current challenge hosted in the chat.
- Upload your on-theme artwork.
- Submit your entry before the deadline.
How to enter (Discord only):
- Head to the NightCafe Lounge Discord.
- Open the channels sidebar. Select '#Modifier-Monday' under the Competition Hub category.
- Open the current Modifier Monday entry post.
- Post your on-theme submissions to the appropriate forum. We allow 3 maximum on Discord. You do not have to tag NightCafe or use hashtags when entering on Discord.
- Discord entries close every Friday around 12PM UTC for voting. The most voted on creation of the week will be crowned winner and receive 200 credits tipped to their winning creation.
How to enter on socials:
Post to one of 5 official entry channels (NightCafe AI Art Group, Instagram, r/nightcafe, and Twitter) using the hashtag (or flair) #modifiermonday, tag @NightCafeStudio, and include the original NightCafe creation link.
Guidelines
Create your artwork using NightCafe Studio.Use the theme for inspiration—be as specific or general as you like, but stay on theme.Feel free to use start images, duplicate your own work, evolve, or touch up your NightCafe AI art in other programs (the final image must be recognizable as the original).No multi-image grids. Please choose one image to submit from a grid, or publish separately and submit the individual images from there.Any creations that have placed in the top 5% and beyond (including the top 20%) in Daily Challenges on the site are eligible to enter a Modifier Monday contest and win. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place creations are not eligible to win.If you've won in the last 4 weeks, you can participate but won't be eligible for the prize. Please mention if you're entering for fun!
All PRO models and features are allowed. We’ve made this decision to align with the original spirit of #ModifierMonday, which is to showcase the capabilities of NightCafe through simple themes enhanced by your unique vision and prompts!
