What is Seedream?

Seedream (by ByteDance) is a next-generation multimodal model built for ultra-fast, high-resolution image generation. On NightCafe it’s a PRO model, available as Seedream 4.0 and 4.5 (with Seedream 5.0 Lite in preview).

What it’s good at

• High resolution — up to 4K images (2K on the standard setting, 4K on ultra).
• Multi-image fusion — combine multiple start images (up to 14) into a single result.
• Prompt-to-edit — give editing instructions using a start image.
• Consistent characters — keep a character looking the same across creations.

Good to know

When you use a start image, the output resolution is determined by that image, so the resolution options are turned off.
