Rate limit for publishing creations
In December 2024, NightCafe introduced a rate limit for publishing creations. The rate limit may change in future based on your feedback and our observations, but as of December 17 the limit is 5 creations published every 10 minutes.
Update: the rate limit has been relaxed to 5 creations per 5 minutes. This means you can essentially publish one creation per minute, or 5 creations all at once (but then wait 5 minutes to publish again).
There are several reasons for this rate limit:
- It encourages users to only publish their best creations, making the feeds better for everyone
- It prevents the "New creations" and "Following" feeds from being flooded with creations by a single creator
- It helps us moderate the platform better
If you see this rate limit message, it doesn't mean we think you're a spammer or your creations aren't good. You just need to wait a few minutes before publishing your next creation.
Thanks for using NightCafe!
