Your username

Your username is a unique identifier for your profile. It can contain letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores only — no spaces or other special characters.

Username & display name rules

• Must not include hateful, offensive, violent, sexual, threatening, abusive, defamatory, deceptive, obscene or otherwise objectionable language.
• Must not be similar to, or confusable with, a third party’s trademark or brand, or infringe a trademark or copyright.
• Must not include “NightCafe”, “admin”, “moderator” or similar terms that imply an official NightCafe affiliation.

Our rights

If we detect a username or display name that violates these policies or that we consider inappropriate, we may change or remove it — and, depending on severity, issue a temporary or permanent ban.

Changing your username

Username changes are allowed only for a valid reason (for example, a misspelling), because changing usernames can confuse other members and reduce accountability. If you have a valid reason, contact support via the Feedback form.
