NightCafe hosted a free live workshop, Testing Scary Good Templates, on Monday, 26 October 2026. NightCafe creators have been brewing interesting Templates. On the stream, the hosts took a few for a spin to find out which ones are scary good.
The stream included Halloween picks and a little “what happens if we try this?” Chat suggestions helped put these Templates through their paces.
The workshop was about one hour and streamed on YouTube and Facebook at the same time. You do not need a ticket or a PRO subscription to watch the replay. The same links work for the replay.

If you want a written guide to Templates (how they control model, prompt, start images, and more), see the Templates FAQ. For a written, always-on side-by-side of text-to-image models (not a live stream), use NightCafe's free AI Model Comparison.
No. Watching live or on replay on YouTube or Facebook is free and does not require a NightCafe account. If you want to try the Templates yourself, sign in at Studio. Some Templates default to a PRO model; you can usually switch to a different model. The Templates FAQ explains that.
The workshop started at 10:00 a.m. Pacific (PDT) on 26 October 2026, which is 5:00 p.m. UTC. The live workshop page also shows the start time in your local timezone once the page loads.
Yes. Use the same YouTube or Facebook link to watch the replay.
No. That earlier session, Make Something for the Season (12 October 2026), was replaced on the live workshop page by Testing Scary Good Templates. For ongoing model comparison, use the in-product AI Model Comparison rather than a one-off stream.
