What is image prompting?
Image prompting (also called IP Adapter) lets you use an image as part of your prompt. Instead of describing everything in words, you provide a reference image and NightCafe transfers its subject matter, style or composition into your new creation.
How to use it
- Add an image prompt. Upload an image or pick an existing creation to use as the reference.
- Choose how it’s applied. The Full method transfers both the style and the subject of the reference image. If you also use a text prompt, make sure it doesn’t conflict with the image — for example, don’t prompt for a dog if the reference is a cat.
- Adjust the strength. The strength slider controls how strongly the image prompt is applied. As with text prompts, too much strength can “overcook” the result, so adjust to taste.
Image prompting costs a little more than a standard generation, so keep an eye on the credit cost shown before you create.
