This is expected behaviour. Pausing your subscription only changes when you are next charged, it does not extend your PRO expiry date.
This applies whether you chose a temporary pause or paused indefinitely.
How PRO expiry works
- Your PRO perks expire based on your last successful payment, not your next scheduled payment.
- When you pause, your next charge date moves forward but your PRO perks expire date stays the same.
- If your PRO perks expire before your pause ends, you will lose access to PRO features until your next successful payment even though billing is still paused.
What you can do
- Check your PRO perks expire date on Manage subscription.
- If you want to restore PRO before it expires, click Resume Subscription to pay early. Please note, you will be charged immediately when you resume your subscription.
When you pause during the cancel flow, we show a timeline warning if your PRO perks may expire before payments resume.
