Deprecation of Legacy Video Models (Luma, Runway Gen3 Alpha, SVD1.1, Wan 2.1,Seedance 1.0 Lite )

LumaLabs - the team behind the Luma model on NightCafe (it's called DreamMachine 1.6 or Ray 1.6 elsewhere) have decided to deprecate the 1.6 model so it's unfortunately no longer available on NightCafe.  

Runway Gen3 Alpha, SVD 1.1 & Wan 2.1
We've also decided to deprecate the legacy video models ,Runway Gen3 Alpha, SVD 1.1 & Wan 2.1, because compared to newer models, the results and credit cost of these older models often just result in disappointment. 

We recommend using one of the other newer video models instead. 

If you were relying on any of these model for a specific workflow, please submit a ticket and let us know about it, and we'll do our best to help you.

Bytedance
ByteDance is retiring Seedance 1.0 Lite on May 13, 2026. Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast is a great alternative with faster generation and better quality. At the same time, they are also deprecating the Seedream 3.0 image model. Seedream 4.0 is a great alternative with improved quality and 4K resolution support.
