Several older video models have been retired on NightCafe and are no longer available for new creations. Videos you already generated are unchanged.

Runway Gen-4 Turbo

Runway Gen-4 Turbo is a legacy image-to-video model that has been sunset and is no longer available for new creations on NightCafe. Your existing creations are unchanged.

For current image-to-video options, try Google Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 Turbo, Wan 3.0, Grok Imagine Video, or PixVerse V6.

Luma

LumaLabs — the team behind the Luma model on NightCafe (it's called DreamMachine 1.6 or Ray 1.6 elsewhere) — decided to deprecate the 1.6 model, so it's unfortunately no longer available on NightCafe.

Runway Gen-3 Alpha, SVD 1.1 & Wan 2.1

We've also deprecated the older video models Runway Gen-3 Alpha, SVD 1.1, and Wan 2.1, because compared to newer models, the results and credit cost of these older models often just result in disappointment. We recommend using one of the other newer video models instead.

ByteDance

ByteDance retired Seedance 1.0 Lite on May 13, 2026. Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast is a great alternative with faster generation and better quality. At the same time, they also deprecated the Seedream 3.0 image model. Seedream 4.0 is a great alternative with improved quality and 4K resolution support.
