How to turn off autoplay on Explore for videos

Turn off auto play on the explore feed for videos?

You can turn off video autoplay across NightCafe, including on the Explore feed.

How to turn off autoplay

  1. Open any video creation (for example, tap a video from Explore).
  2. In the video player, click the ⋮ (more) menu.
  3. Select Turn off autoplay.

This setting is saved globally and applies to videos on Explore, creation pages, and elsewhere. To turn autoplay back on, use the same menu and select Autoplay videos.

Note: If your device has prefers reduced motion enabled, autoplay may already be off by default.
